This a great way to use up fruit left over on a fruit platter or any berries or stone fruit that is getting soft. I have made this many times with all sorts of variations of fruit and the results have always been fantastic. For a grown up version, add a splash of rum and some mint.
Fresh Fruit Granitas
Any combination of fruit
Blend all the fruit until combined. Pour into cups and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight. Remove from freezer and place cups individually in the microwave for about 20 seconds. Use a fork to scrape the ice crystals into granita.
